    • About Fawn Grove: Fawn Grove is an agricultural area with Corn Fields and Peach Orchards. It today resemmbles what Colts Neck in Monmouth County New Jersey used to be like in the 1960's. Fawn Grove is a mixture of family owned farms and single famly owned homes. The family owned farms are passed to generations and these farms are rarely sold or broken apart for their land. Building lots do not become available often in this area for this reason. Building lots in Pennsylvania are governed by building rights and not all property can be subdivided.

About the Maple Lawn Farm Subdivision. Maple Lawn Farm is a large farm in Fawn Grove area. In 2007, Maple Lawn Farms, being a family owned farm subdivided a portion of the farm to create Lots #2, #3, #4 and #5. These were a good choice for building lots. Lot #4 and Lot #5 on the Eastern part of the subdivision are wooded lots. Lot #2 and Lot #3 are on the Western part of the subdivision. Lot #3 is partly wooded on its southern boundary. Lot #2 (this 1.5 acre lot) is mostly open with a 3/4 acre natural estuary or Ground Water Retention Area on the southern boundary.

Commute to Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. Lot #2 is approximately three miles from the Pennsylvania and Maryland border. Route 136 is the highway that goes through Whiteford and Dublin into Churchville where it meets Route 22. Route 22 is the highway that crosses over Interstate 95 into APG north gate. Total commute time is approxiamtely 30-35 minutes in light traffic.
